Here are more information about this family. They are most probably friends of my family, if Guri is from Qvale in Valdres she could be a friend of one of my ancestors.

1. Anders Ingvaldsen Brattegjerde. Born on 16 Jan 1853 in Lærdal, Sogn. Anders Ingvaldsen died in Goodhue Co., MN, USA, on 11 Jul 1916; he was 63. Buried in Holden Luth. Cemetery.
Guri Olsdatter Brattegjerde (Qvale).
On 19 Oct 1887 when Anders Ingvaldsen was 34, he married Guri Olsdatter Qvale, daughter of Ingeliev Broin, in Holden Church. Born on 17 Mar 1858 in Vang, Oppland. Guri Olsdatter died in Winona Co., on 10 Oct 1953; she was 95.
They had the following children:

Ingvar married Hilda Anfinson. Hilda died in 1971 in Goodhue Co., MN, USA.

v. Oscar. Born on 30 Dec 1896 in Kenyon, Goodhue Co., MN, USA. Oscar died on 12 Nov 1964; he was 67. Buried in Holden Luth. Cemetery.
vi. Anna. Born on 22 Apr 1900 in Kenyon, Goodhue Co., MN, USA. Anna died in 1997; she was 96.
Anna first married Clarence Anfinson. Anna second married Albert Ulefoss. Albert died ca 1989

On 17 Mar 1944 when Alfred Gerhard was 25, he married Norma Rose Adelaide Aase, daughter of Ole Aase (1890-) & Anne Remold, in Gol Lutheran Church, Kenyon, MN.
